God put something fierce in a man. A desire to protect, to provide and to lead. A readiness to die for those he loves. In remote areas of the world, such as where we serve, we are seeing those in charge of tribes and villages do this.
Each month, the tribal leaders walk up to 4.5 miles one way to fellowship, study the Word of God, and to hear a live message over video with Jed. They share their testimonies and their excitement to walk on this
path of righteousness with their Good Shepherd, Jesus (Ps. 23:3).
Between these monthly meetings, these leaders are discipling 5-6 people in their tribes with the "Discipleship Evangelism" curriculum by Andrew Wommack in their own native language. What's more, these leaders are breaking through cultural norms to train up women and children in the Truth.
(They are even bringing women to the monthly meetings!)
They are planting churches, feeding the hungry and reaching out to those around them with
the message of grace to a country that is hostile to the Gospel.
We equip each leader with a JPM badge, a spiral bound copy of "Discipleship Evangelism" in their language, and a hot meal each month so they have the strength to walk home at the end of the day.
